Sam's has just went to hell. They are replacing name brand items with their own brand (Member Mark), which I have found to be inferior to the name brands I have tried. At this store, you do not have to show card to get in. I asked the manager how do they stop regular members from getting in early as plus members can (Plus Membership is $60 a year more). No answer. I like early hours so I can get in and out. But more and more regular customers are learning they can to now. Got rid of the tobacco department because it wasn't profitable. Meat and produce has went down in quality and up in cost. The final straw, I was getting a flat repaired and the tech tore the inside lip (bead) of the tire. Came in and said nothing he could do to prevent it. Says, I can put it back on and hope it holds or you need to buy a new tire. I said, "WHOA!!" I grew up changing tires in my parents gas station and that was your fault. Manager came and claimed tires were old. Bought them there five years ago. Now mind you, I don't drive my truck that often, so there were relatively few miles put on since bought. They were dirty but I fail to wash the ol girl. Tire was still pliable and no dry rot anywhere. Kicker? They don't make that model of tire anymore. I have always changed all four of my tires when I buy them. I don't want a different tread and tread depth on one tire. No offer to do anything. Manager is looking at tires, but never offers to replace the one his tech damaged. I finally told them to just put it back on and I'll take my chances. They did patch the hole I was there for in the first place. They mounted it and was getting ready to put it on and I asked the manager if they re-checked for a leak. He said no, it won't leak. I told him I always had to dip the tire back in the water tank to insure it was not leaking. I had him write on the bill that it would not leak and sign it. On the way home it wobbled bad as if they didn't balance it right. I let it sit afterwards and the tire slowly went down again. I do have to add, the pharmacy personnel are great. I wish I could give them five stars here somewhere. There are other employees that are wonderful and I enjoy talking with when I am there. Sadly, this 20 year customer is going to head to Costco and check them out.
This is a very spacious and centrally located store. It sits adjacent to Lowe's, Office Depot, and a plethora of restaurants, dine-in and fast food. The parking lot is definitely spacious. The store is brightly lit and very clean. Of course, there is a greeter at the entry and at the exit. The selection of items available is quite impressive. As you walk in there are flat screen televisions, jewelry, designer fragrances, appliances for your kitchen or patio/deck. There is a bakery, fresh meat, and wine section at the back of the store. They have a small cafe section with tasty pizza and hot dogs, if you desire a quick bite!I give this location four out of five stars because the check out lines are often too long!
Big place. They have a wide variety of items. People are helpful when you can find someone. Good prices on bulk items.
Twice in the past month it seems like every pineapple on display is overripeThe leaves are all brown and wiltingDo they charge extra for fruit flies? they're all over the produce. Self checkout is okay but when half of those registers don't work it becomes a problem. setting your gas prices $0. 05 below the QuikTrip up the street it's no secretprepared to go sign up for Costco because their gas is always $0. 20 cheaper than Sam's Club and the food prices and varieties seem better
Poor customer service, the staff is rude, lines are always long and yet the store itself is empty. It's impossible to get something quickly here. I try to avoid this location like the plague. Hardly any new merchandise and not a lot of health food products. Bathrooms are disgusting and the food is mediocre at best. Please....go... to Costco.
