During the summer my family and I became well acquainted with this park. The beautiful trees provided a gentle breeze and adequate protection from the harsh rays of the sun. The cacophony of boisterous sounds emitted by children engaged in group sports was a welcome symphony. The walking trail was peaceful and full of natural scenery. This is what all parks should look, feel, sound, and smell like!
I often visit Rec Park and have never once been dissatisfied with my visits. They keep it clean and have nice areas, walking trails are great and they always seem to be expanding. The skate park is sufficient for some tricks, baseball feilds are good, playground is larger than most. I fully recommend it.
Very cute park. It has an area for elementary aged kids and pre-school aged children. You can see both areas at the same time. It was busy even though it was drizzling out. I worry it could great too busy if it is nice out.
This is a really nice park for families. I have been taking my Grandson here, he loves this park. Very clean. Very well maintained. Has very nice restrooms. Very nice walking trails. There are ball fields, skate park for skate boarding. They have a small pond that if you teaching little ones to fish it is perfect. They have covered picnic area. Plenty of parking. Soccer fields. And I understand it will soon have a recreation center. Raymore has several wonderful parks, but my grandkids love this one.
Clean, lots if play equipment for the younger kids and quite a lot of fields for sports. Very nice
