I have been a 9Round member for over four years and LOVE it, but I would not recommend this location. I recently moved to the Raymore area and wanted to transfer my current membership from the Mission location. They told me they could not match my current membership price and that the best they could do was more than double what I pay now. They cited corporate for this. I was later able to negotiate them down to a monthly rate that was still $20 more than my current rate. This is interesting because when I was a member with this same owner a few years ago, I was paying less than what I pay now. It's clear that their bottom line is turning a profit instead of welcoming a loyal 9R member to their gym. Very disappointing.
9Round has truly revolutionized my fitness regime and given me faster, sustainable results. Make no doubt about it...every time you go in, you will leave drenched in sweat and spent! But its so worth it! I feel so energized and strong after every workout. It never stops being challenging, which makes it exciting and keeps my fitness level up. The trainers are always encouraging and energizing, and I never feel uncomfortable or awkward by their presence like in the traditional gym model.
I have been doing the 6 week challenge and it has helped facilitate a complete change in my health. I am eating better on the meal plan along with building muscle and losing weight. I have lost 6% body fat, lost 10 lbs, and gained 4 lbs of muscle. It is an intense workout and the trainers help you push through it. One of my favorite parts is that it is not a set time and it is a 30 minute workout.
The employees are very professional and will explain workouts to you and techniques if you have questions. It's a great workout regardless of your fitness level. Dont be timid, give it a try
I love going to 9round! I've always struggled with staying motivated to work out consistently. 9round keeps me engaged because the workouts change daily and the awesome trainers are there to push you through. I would highly recommend 9round!
